I had an interesting conversation with a new to me student about my skin color this evening. She initially called me a monster and ugly(her shocked mother corrected her). I gave her a lesson on the beauty of all colors and we ended up friends. I was initially taken aback, but I think I recovered well and stayed on to have a great class with her. I wonder if they'll book me again.
I call bullshit there was ever an apology. It was probably the Chinese girl failing to get across, "OK, you still stupid nigger, stop wasting my time."
